Supporting Emergency Response and Recovery Needs in Wake of Mexico’s Deadly Earthquakes
International Medical Corps is partnering with a local organization to support relief and recovery services for families impacted by the two earthquakes. Our team is currently on the ground in Mexico, assessing the most urgent unmet needs in both Mexico City and Oaxaca, which was greatly affected by the 8.1-magnitude earthquake on September 7. This includes looking at how we can best help provide mental health and psychosocial support as well as health care, water, sanitation, hygiene, and other services in the aftermath of these devastating earthquakes.
